I am 62. Since the last couple of years, my hands tremble mildly. More when stretched away from my body. It is not constant but the amount of trmeor varies from absent to noticeable
I have not been to a doctor to be diagnosed but this appears to be PD. Probably early stage.
Do you feel I can start Zandopa on my own to arrest the progress of PD?

Early stage Parkinson's causes tremor on one side only. Based on when you said, it appears you have tremor on both sides which casts doubt upon a Parkinson's diagnosis. I do recommend you see a neurologist to get a proper diagnosis.
I actually use my right hand a lot more than I do my left. So I've noticed it with my right hand will try and observe if the left hand has tremors too. In public, say I'm holding a sheet of paper or book with one hand, if I notice significant tremor, I use the other hand to steady the tremor
to arrest the progress of PD, start taking high dose thiamine hcl
Do go and get checked out by a Parkinson’s consultant for a definite diagnosis . We thought my husband had Parkinson’s but his is postural tremor as it is only when his arms are outstretched , not when sitting still with hands in lap at rest position
Not enough evidence to conclude PD. If it’s not too annoying I would do nothing. Early diagnosis doesn’t particularly help and in this case ignorance is bliss!
