I sometimes find it a little difficult to swallow the tablets. Does anybody know if it's ok to chew them?

If you can mix the pure bulk powder in food or drink, I don't see why not. People report the oral powder to be effective and by chewing up the pills it is almost powder already.

Thanks, Art. True, it would be like powder.

I do that from day 1 starting March and is ok. The taste is no so bad but some tea with honey or a piece of chocolate will fix it.

Chocolate! I'm all for that to take the bitter taste away. Thanks for your response, ion_ion.

I recently switched to sublingual thiamine 100mg. which is supposedly a high dosage since sublingual goes directly into blood without passing through digestive system. It also tastes terrible but they amazingly add cherry flavor to it! It is found on amazon.
