Hi has anyone gone on a trail using deferiprone? It is an iron attenuating/chelating drug which has shown favourable initial results. The general gist is that excess iron has been found in the substantia nigra and other parts of the brain affected by Parkinson's. I am thinking about going on it but would like to speak with someone that has undergone phase 2. I have been offered phase 2b. Its a nine-month trial.

Yep thanks Deat, that's the trial at Melbourne Hospital that they want me to attend, however I am perplexed since this has already been trialled in Europe , as to why again?
