Does any one suffer from a constant discomfort in the stomach, swollen feeling and tight uncomfortable muscles right across the diaphram,i.v had pd for 15 years now and i have severe bowel troubles consultant said i have a very slow transit of the bowel,i have to irigate the bowels every alternative day but this only removes a small amount.after 3/4 weeks i have to force myself to evacuate the bowel basically because it has no where else to go and causes a lot of pain, any advice would be appreciated

This feeling of severe discomfort is my major, debilitating symptom. Some relief might be found if you take 2-3 capsules of Mag-07 (Aerobic Life) before bedtime daily. In addition, I supplement with three capsules of NOW Magnesium citrate (with glycinate/malaate)-in divided doses during the day, with food.

Hope this provides some relief.

Arrange to see your Parkinson's Nurse asap. S/he should be able to prescribe for you. It is important that you only take laxative that is specifically for long-term chronic constipation. Also get advice about the foods that can make a difference. Check if you are drinking enough water.

If you don't have a PN, see your GP instead.

Have a look at ParkinsonsUK website for more info.

Yeah but is it Lyme misdiagnosed please do your research

I shall do no such thing. I am a pwp and have no intention of 'researching' other random diseases. Accuracy of diagnosis is between the pwp and his/her neurologist.

The questioner has had PD for 15 years and asked advice about one element of that. The action I suggested would do no harm, even if the diagnosis was different.

Thank you anyway as if you do your research you will find in most cases PD is the symptom not the root cause as it is usually BORRELLIA bacteria the same one that causes the LYME disease but unfortunately unless you see LYME literate DRS you are caught in a cycle of the symptom hence keep seeing your PD trained professionals thats what they get paid for diagnosing the symptom and not the underlying cause cheers

When my husband has stress his stomach hurts and he feels like he needs to vomit. Everything freezes, including his lungs which take in less air and his brain which gets less oxygen.

Yes i,v had the lymes disease test, was negative,it wasnt easy for some reason to get the test they were very reluctant, one of the major problems is i cant get the usual urge to evacuate the bowel and cant push,(bear down) the relative muscles have been weakened by the parkinsons, the trouble is i,v had various things nothing seems to work so they give up trying, the straining i have to do cant be good for my heart i already have 5 stents fitted so its a big problem

I respect you have had a Lyme test but unless conducted by a Lyme literate Dr or a Pathology Lab experienced with this testing you will always get a negative result . Please try the liquid cats claw herb it wi kill any stealth bacteria that is in your system and you may be surprised with the results cheers

Also Alan be sure and watch the rebounding video. Sometimes it's hard to get the exercise we need for one reason or another and the mini-trampoline looked like a superb idea. He started out barely able to get on it and look at what he's doing in the video.

Just remembered: I have very slow transit also and tried this before or after (if I forgot) eating. Take around 2/3 c. or 200 ml aloe vera juice with 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar and 1/4 tsp. baking soda stirred in. It's not bad tasting and seemed to regulate my stomach acid problem as well as the uncomfortable feeling around the diaphragm and stiffness in my gut, probably due to aiding digestion. I went through 2 gal. when I was really suffering and it feels better almost immediately after eating so if you're near a Wal-Mart aloe vera juice was $9. CND a gallon, cheaper than some other remedies. Also found out that psyllium husks in water worked to unbind me and made the juice remedy work better.

Increase your intake of fresh fruits and veggies. More salads! This helped me immensely!
