PSP stands for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. I suggest that you GOOGLE it. In addition, in Health Unlocked there is a PSP site. This PD site, the majority of people contributing are the actual patients.

You are welcome. I hope it is not PSP, but if it is there will be much guidance for you on the PSP site.

I don't understand why you (or your dad) didn't ask the neurologist to explain the diagnosis while you were there.

the doctor said my dad would need mrı scan...and he said he would discuss with me in detail after the mri scan. however, in the form he wrote psp?

Ok that makes sense, the Neurologist was addressing another health professional. He noted a possible diagnosis to indicate what area he wants scanned, and what to look for.
