B3, mitochondrial function, and PD
very interesting thank you
It remains to be understood what the effective practical use of b3 is
There is some interesting (and relevant) information in the comments section at the bottom of this SoPD blog post.
Nicotinamide riboside is not identical to any other form of vitamin B3. It is patented and trademark as Niagen. Non PD human studies show 1 gram daily dose (2x500mg) for mitochondrial health. If is available on Amazon.
Mitochondrial dysfunctions are issues with numerous chronic degenerative diseases. PD poisons such as heavy metals and chemicals affect mitochondria negatively.
Guess, we have to add Niagen to the vitamins' protocol.
B complex vitamins are very important to PwP and a must for their therapy protocol.
I contacted Dr.Deleidi and here is her reply. I am going to look into this further.
Thank you for your email.
It is a bit difficult to recommend a dosage at the moment.
This a useful link to the ongoing/planned or concluded clinical trials
with nicotinamide riboside (no study on Parkinson's yet)

This the company that has provided NR for our study
In the website you can find informations about mechanisms and different
studies.
Hope this helps.
