Shortness of breath in PD “respiratory dyskinesia”

Shortness of breath can have many causes, but someone with Parkinson’s disease has an unusual possibility, called “respiratory dyskinesia” (which just means “abnormal movement of the muscles of breathing”). This is an involuntary rapid breathing that causes distress, and it usually happens an hour after taking a medication like Sinemet. Changing the dose can help with diagnosis

Thank you for sharing that. Something else I hope I don't get but which is good to know about. I take five or six 25/100 sinemet a day but I start off with a half in the morning and take them more often and smaller doses during the day. This is what I'm comfortable with although it does make eating a bit of a problem. We all walk that line between overmedicated and undermedicated.
