Is it common to throw up right after DBS surgery. My sister is could it be the anesthesia???

It may just be the anesthesia, if they did everything right. I know mine had images pictures and I could have and sworn they were watching where they were putting them on screen. But that may be the anesthesia talking.

I haven't had DBS, but I've had three surgeries & everytime I got pretty sick, so I would guess that it's the anesthesia.

I have a scopalamine patch put on before any anesthesia. Even the light one used for lithotripsy, else I get dry heaves upon waking up. Yes, anesthesia can cause nausea.
