If it sounds too good to be true, and if years of availability fail to produce vast numbers of enthusiastic (and verifiable) testimonials, alternate explanations may apply: quackwatch.org/11Ind/hinz.html

Tricky dosing. It caused me to projectile vomit. DBS worked wonders. Very expensive too!

Yes, it is expensive. Yes, it is complicated and dosing is tricky. BUT- yes, it does work for many (but not all) of those who can afford it. Having worked with this protocol I know that it does wonders for some.

TomandDon when you say worked with it are you meaning that you prescribe it to patients or you take it yourself or ........? Can you say How long have you been involved with it.

On a very limited basis I have prescribed it to patients, At this time I have 2 patients that have been on the Hinz protocol for over 5 years. Both are doing substantially better than they were when the started in 2012. One patient is in his 80's now, the other in his 70's. I no longer am taking new patients for this protocol for a variety of reasons, but I can endorse it with the reservations I previously mentioned. (Expense and complicated dosing)

Thanks for responding, interesting experience though such statements as “doing substantially better ...” I want to tease out what is actually being said and find out about the left out bits.

Like what were they on before and what else has changed in their lives and if mucuna is part of the protocol then I would expect positive reports just as happens with sinemet, so how do you think it differs and how many do you know who have discontinued and why did they etc etc

But actually the protocol doesnt particularly interest me. It is very expensive and Hinz or rather his daughters company produces some of the products I believe. I doing OK on the cheaper traditional stuff 🤓

TomnDon If you prescribed does that mean you are a medical doctor or can others prescribe such treatments, lab tests etc in the US?

What do you think about the testimonials on his site ?? I think to follow it, but I will ask him first approximately 20 questions and at least 10 he should have to answer......when he has nothing to hide. Off course I have also read the link quackwatch.....I don't what to think about that....is that also realistic or a kind of jealous reaction ??
