The DIRT connection to PD. Too funny.

I was researching magnesium and neurological disease when I came across this recently published study. There's nothing here to improve our lot, BUT I just thought it slightly funny to think the dirt in my back yard may be helping or hurting my condition. The study I linked below found a correlation between soil content of selenium, strontium, and magnesium and PD:

For some time now I've thought that a possible etiology for PD was via fungal infection from the droppings of ground feeding birds, see:

parkinsonsmeasurement.org/P...

Perhaps you can link soil type with fungal growth.
