I have been having hot flashes a few times a day just like I did when I was going through menopause. But I have been done with menopause for a few years now. My neurologist says you can experience hot flashes the rest of your life even though you are through menopause. Sometimes they get so bad it gets hard to breath. They may last as little as 10 minutes or as long as an hour. It’s very frustrating because it makes me stop what I’m doing and sit to rest for awhile. I have a lot of anxieties right now from other personal issues. I am wondering if the breathing and hot flashes are related to pd, the anxieties, or even another Problem such as copd?

Hot flashes and breathing problems
i notice i get hot and a little short of breath (altho i have asthma) when its almost time for my next c/l dose (not always, but about 50% of the time). i get "end of dose" dyskinesias, and i think its related to that.
Hi Pamster. I have heard the hot flashes can continue for life, but I am not aware of them stopping and starting up again. Are you checking your blood pressure regularly? I think anxiety may be your biggest issue. Maybe a trip to your GP is in order.
This happened to me. When I started the Vit D they stopped. I was pleasantly surprised
Thermoregulation is another of the non motor symptoms we can be troubled by. Sometimes it is at peak dose and sometimes like jujulini writes it can be a sign of going off. I find I am bothered by hot flashes for a few weeks then they disappear. I dont really know why.
