I dont care about that , dont care about anything, and I have not had the surgery yet.

I look at the surgery as a good way to get out of the house for a few days. Never go anywhere or do anything and this is getting worse. Apathy? who cares.

I hope you have a wonderful result, best of luck. None of us know what we are going to need down the road or what kind of a decision we are going to make. This is a cruel, cruel disease.

Are you planning on having DBS? When I reread your post I'm not sure that you are. But, it sounds to me like you really want to do something, have some kind of an activity. Hope you can find something it would make you feel a lot better. Give you a new outlook on life Mary

I had DBS 3.5 years ago. I feel that it was very successful in many circumstances but it has only temporarily improved my psych symptoms. I used to be apathetic but now I just don’t give a damn 🤪

I'm very sorry, I have no idea what the answer is. My mother had depression many times over her lifetime. I hope I never get it. It was very hard on her. Funny thing is when she got old she was not depressed anymore she was very happy.
