Thank you for great information. I've tried black seed oil in the past for a short period of time to alleviate histamine issues but discontinued because of the taste which is quite strong. Maybe should try again in smaller dosages or maybe a different brand.

Wow, such an impressive record of studies! However in many of those cases N. Sativa aqueous extract was used which I have not seen on the market. Still, it might be good to cook with seeds and/or use encapsulated oil if taste is prohibitive. I wonder if anyone on this forum tried it.

I've heard that it lowers blood pressure considerably.

I, too, tried it for a few months but choking it down took dedication. Finding a reliable, reasonably priced product is difficult.

I always am afraid of things that lower my PWP's blood pressure due to his past problems of orthostatic hypotension. I might try it as I have slightly elevated bp. I might be able to get off my bp meds.
