Is anyone taking sinemet and ropinirole together? And is it alleviating tremors. I have tremors on my right arm and these meds are not doing anything to relieve it.

My husband takes sinemet (2 1/2) every 4:ish hours and Symmetral/Amantadine twice a day - I read that the symmetral helps with the side effects of carbidopa levadopa/ sinemet... I don't know what ropinirole is - Look on wikipedia - kindof interesting. You may need to play with dosages. Different for everyone. We have been lucky with the tremor and rigidity issues - the meds??? Quien sabe??? Who knows😐

I have tried this one day the tremors didn't stop plus it gave me an undesired side effect (no erection) . But the tremors didn't stop. Should I have given it more time

Inderal (propranolol) works extremely well for me for tremors. But it will lower your blood pressure sharply, so I only take it for situations where I know my tremor will be particularly noisy.

Propranolol didn't work for me. Also, I read somewhere that might increase the progression of Parkinson's.
