Although I have heard of flax seeds before, I never realized how amazing they are. Apparently, they can lower homocysteine levels. Since any form of levodopa raises homocysteine levels (associated with vascular disease and dementia), this could be especially important for PD fighters.
Apparently, 1 to 2 TBSP of flaxseed a day (grind it up and keep it in the fridge) added to your smoothies or oatmeal can help.
