I also have it, too. Before I was diagnosed I had gone to an ear specialist and all he suggested was Niacin. I take it everyday and either I’ve gotten used to the ringing or it’s helped

Yes, I don’t know if it was Parkinsons or just ringing. I wasn’t diagnosed with Parkinson’s until 3 yrs later

Need to know the cause. There are several causes of tinnitus such as acoustic trauma and Meniere's disease. AFAIK PD does not cause it but what do I know. Are you thinking PD caused yours or something else?

I was diagnosed two years ago with PD and 1 year ago ringing in ears started and it never lets up. Hubby has ringing in ears most likely caused by noise on his job, but his comes and goes. My hasn't stopped or subsided since it started, I have wondered if it was caused by PD or extremely bad cold a year ago?

Mine never stops either! It just started up one day.. never have thought to ask the Dr

Every time I see my PD Doc I have to fill out a list of current symptoms. Ringing in the ears was a category you can check off. I said Doc, I have ringing in my ears what do I do? She replied " I am not sure, that is not a symptom of Parkinson's ".

My husband has had PD for 12 years and tinnitus for about the same amount of time. It is constant & never stops. He has learned to 'ignore' it but when he thinks about it, it appears to be worse. He also takes niacin but don't know if it helps.

I have it too. I want to say that treating my h pylori with antibiotics has made it better, but I'm not sure yet. Might just be that I have been biking less outside since the weather has gotten less agreeable. Less wind nose in my ears which makes it worse.

Hi, Laurelf

This technique helped get rid of vertigo without any medication.

Also whenever I have tinnitus, I do this and I now have tinnitus only rarely.

I have RA, but don't know whether the two are interrelated.

I've had tinnitus for 10 or 15 years and was shocked to find this technique actually worked for me and my wife. It looks like something to simple and stupid to be true but it worked for us.
