Yes... who knows if it helps but my symptoms are only very slowly getting worse so lets just assume that it's working . I also take fish oil. and selegiline. and nortriptyline.

If your blood pressure allows for it, ask your doctor to prescribe Isradipine. There are ongoing studies that are proving it slows the progression of the disease. I take it. It does not cause any side effects in me at all and its very cheap

some other suggestions for you are fast walking and raising your body's glutathione levels. Raise glutathione with Curcumin (turmeric) and Whey Protein Isolate (which contains Cysteine). Avoid pesticides and eat an organic and ketogenic diet.

Everyone's case is different and different things work or dont work for different people/ Here's what I take:

Isradapine (the only prescription drug I take)

Mannitol

Whey Protein Isolate

Vitamin C

Neuro Replete

Cystreplete

Mucuna

Co Q 1 0 with PQQ

Alithiamine or Benfotiamiine

Multi vitamin

Fish oil

Vitamin E

B complex

Green Tea

Curcumin

Ginko Biloba

Panax Ginseng

Also an Organic Paleo Ketogenic non GMO diet helps a lot

I second the use of PQQ for improvement of mitochondrial energy.

Yes! The ubiquinol form, a helpful anti-oxidant, not just good for us w/PD but also for your cardiovascular health. Ubiquinol s more effective than regular CoQ`10. I take 1 cap twice a day.

Yes I use ubiquinol 100 mg. I tried 300 mg and my tremors were out of control.

Hugely-I had to cancel all my appointments until I figured it out.

From the Parkinsons.org website:

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) - This has been shown to have an effect on the symptoms of Parkinson's Disease, however it is unclear whether it actually slows the disease or simply temporarily alleviates symptoms. The drawback is the massive dose required. The effective dose is approximately 1,200 milligrams a day, well above the 60 to 90 milligrams recommended by many alternative therapy advocates.

My routine includes one 150mg capsule at morning and night. 1200 mg a day would become quite expensive.
