Yes but not colon cancer, i was detected severe ilieal chron's disease, Now cured but i got gift of PD, i had 1460 tab of PANTASA which cost 2lakhs in INDIA. Now doctor says no more ulcer. God knows.
I was diagnosed with colon cancer roughly four years ago. Went through radiation, surgery and chemo. In a follow-up meeting my surgeon pointed out a tremor in my left hand and said I should have it checked out. Took quite a while to get a neurologist appointment but -- bingo -- I was diagnosed with Parkinsons. Two years later no sign of cancer but, of course, the PD carries on...
I'm sorry. Life is such a struggle. I have PD and my husband is about to undergo his 4th surgery for sever Ulcerative Colitis. We are both under 40 and have to a 3&5yr old. Thankfully I'm still good at counting my blessings.
I would assume the PD is brought on by the chemo and fight back with nutrition! People have recovered from PD after chemical exposure. Not cured, recovered (symptom-free).
