The Emma Watch was a one-day wonder for the Parkinson community. But then it never went anywhere. There was no follow up after the media flurry. I emailed its creator, Haiyan Zhang, three times about one year ago, but never got a reply other than an automated: "Hi there, I'm currently traveling for work and will attend to your message when I'm next able to. Cheers!" Why the complete silence? One can only speculate.

I've watched a few episodes. Her physical condition, including tremor, seems to have gotten much worse. At this point, she needs much more than a counter-vibrating watch. It's inspiring to see that even despite severe dystonia in her neck, she continues to smile and post videos. Kudos to Emma! Hang in there, girl!
