I am interested to know how long it took for B1 to work for people? I am increasing my dosage slowly using 500 mg tablets and I am a week in. First day of 3 x 500 mg.
Wendy Tutto Goltz Does the B1 help with tremors?
Kay Sucy Mason Roy Propsner It didn't for my HWP. But once his Dr. said to add the Mag-Theronate with each B1, wow! What a difference. He was up to 2000 mg of B1, and shaking like a leaf in the wind. Cut it out totally, for about 1 month, went back to 1 500 B1 HCL mg and 2000mg of Mag/threonate, and some days we wonder if he really has PD! (Yes, dr. assures us.) Not suggesting this is the answer for everyone. Just our experience.
Thanks Roy.
Is it Dr Costantini or Dr Fancellu (or another one) ?

I'd like to try this, but it is confusing ....2,000 mg of magnesium theonate each time a B1 is taken ? Would you happen to know the ratio of magnesium to B1 ? Thanks
I do not think that was meant
How much mag threonate? I don't do FB.
a little, just enough (agricultural precision).😁
However, I also noticed a big difference with magnesium L-threonate.
I just discussed this yesterday with Rescuema.

I take 2/3 at day
"Just enough," eh? Ok, that clears it up!
Sorry Marion, I was just applying a florist's precision, which in this case does not apply to the situation and vice versa. You have to see how difficult it is for me to explain to an engineer that tulip bulbs are planted in the Autumn.... they want a specific day. However IMO the MG L Threonate works very well.
Hi Giocas, what difference did you feel with Magnesio Treonato? You say that you take it 2/3 times a day, but on what occasions, when do you take Levodopa or B1? Thanks.
Hi Federico, come va?
how are you? The Magnesium L Treonato makes me sleep deeper, I feel a little calm, more awake during the day and even the ldopa seems to work better and a little longer, in short, a general well-being that makes an immediate perceptible difference. I take 2/3 capsules of that brand once a day for three days a week in conjunction with b1 injections. Now I will buy another brand of magnesium thrown because this is a little expensive.

The last time I bought Magtein (magnesium Threonate) I found it much cheaper at Walmart. I take 1 after supper, 2 at bedtime for help with sleep.
Ciao Gio, Yes I'm fine and you too, I seem to understand from your answer, of which I thank you. I bought L Magnesium "MagEnhance" and I'll do like you, I'll take it two or three times a week (preferably in the evening before going to bed, do you agree?). I take a B1 injection of 0,60 once a week. Ad Maiora
Levodopa/carbidopa is less effective at controlling tremor than it is at controlling stiffness. But, nevertheless, I can eliminate most, but not all, of my tremor by taking levodopa/carbidopa. For me, it is as though as you go through the drug cycle, first when you take a dose nothing happens, next there is enough levodopa to lessen the stiffness, then as levels increase even more the tremor diminishes. I plateau for about 2 hours with little tremor, then as the pill wears off the symptoms reoccur in reverse order.
I used to have a significant tremor but then someone taught me how to use my mind to control my body. I just lay quietly for about a half an hour breathing in and out deeply, saying "peace" as I breathed in and "quiet hand" as I breathed out. I thought this sounded really hokey and silly but I tried it anyway. The first time it took about a half an hour for the tremor to stop. After that it took 15 minutes and after that five minutes. Since then I've been able to just will it to stop and it stops. It seldom starts up any more. Don't ask me how it works or why but it works or at least it works for me.
