Hi, Has anyone tried tdcs (transcranial direct current stimulation )for reliving parkinson symptoms?

My mother is taking levodopa/ carbidopa 100/25 6 tablets every 3 hours and sifrol 0.18 3 tablets per day.She can't increase more because of the side effects , specially face spasm, I wonder maybe tdcs could relieve some of her symptoms.

TDCS doesn't seem to be widely used as an effective treatment. I hope you hear from someone who has tried it. Have you considered deep brain stimulation. I have heard very good things about that and the positive effects seem to last. Good luck!
