For all my good friends here, I made a dumb little video to demonstrate that, even though I have PD, I can still rock out!
Here's South Side of the Sky by Yes with me on bass!
I was off my meds when I shot this, by the way. Note the bradykinesia.

Love it!!!
Awesome!!!!
Wish I had your energy...super playing !
Your will and effort are remarkable, Bass. Keep playing and fighting! My husband used to play and was a member of a band. Now, he just talks about it but does nothing. Guitar stays at the corner of our TV room.
Great job Bass - thanks for sharing!
You're still tearin' it up Bass!!!
In that video, I don't see anything that would make me think you had PD, but I'm no expert!
I have a question for you Bass and I don't mean anything bad by it, but is it a prerequisite that bass players have to look serious at all times?I've seen a few bass players and they always seem serious while playing, but once they stop, then it is like another person altogether!

I tried to smile, but I also tried to be cool...but after all, the Parkinson's mask must have prevailed!
Lol!
Actually, I think I was just concentrating because I just learned that song 5 minutes before I shot the video!
All that you are taking is definitely working because AmyLindy is correct, you're still "Bad A** BASS!"
Mask or cool, it is working for you!

Amazing! Keep rocking!
Awesome, man! Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful! Keep rocking.
Too bad you don’t live in the same neighbourhood as me ...I’m looking for a bass player to play with. You play well and you don’t look like you have Parkinson’s at all! Way to go!
Well done, Bass! I wouldn't have a clue that you have p.d. Keep it up!
Thanks for the positive post! Rock on!
Very inspiring! If I didn't know you had PD I certainly wouldn't know it by watching this video.
Cool, thanks, keep rocking
👍👍👍
Wow keep rocking! I wouldn’t have known you had PD! Not a dumb video it was awesome! Nice to put a face to your name. Both my sons were in lots of Rock Bands and they all had serious expressions when playing - my husband and I were expert Roadies! Never stop playing! 👏👏
Hey great to see you at last! Well played, you’re looking good!
You rock, Dude! Cool!
Awesome😃👍🏻
Nice! I like that song. Never heard it before.
Rock on dude, rock on!!
PD cannot beat that guitar..!!
Reminded me of good old MTV music videos with slow motion intros when you were slinging on that guitar. You’ve got some collections there. Way cool and rock on!
Awesome ! Rock on!
Bass, that was surely enjoyable.
Amazing Bass!! 🎶
I suggest that everyone like and subscribe to this channel. Little bit of money on the side.
Lol! Thanks but its mostly bs video of my kids.
I too picked up my bass after a long break (15 years or so). At first I tried to play everything rushed (like my speech) but got myself calmed down. Went better after that.
Nice
Awesome!!
I loved this...made me want to dance!
Wow! The post you shared later than this post, about questioning God’s love for you due to your Parkinson’s suffering, led me here, to this video, as someone mentioned it in a reply to you. I woke up feeling down this morning, and your post spoke to me so I read all the responses. But a picture/video is worth a thousand words. I love this video. It sounds great! It lifted me back up! Thanks for sharing it, knowing you are blessing others!!!!!
Hey kiddo, You have PD? I couldn't tell.
I am 76 years old and play keys and backup singer in a local band. ( My husband has Pd). We play every Wed. night and also for different festivals. I also am grateful for everything I have. Every day, I acknowledge what I am grateful for. Best to you.
