Sinemet CR - Shortage

In South Africa there is a shortage of Sinemet-CR, the rumors are that it's going to be 18 months before there is available stock!

Is there a shortage in the USA

SINEMET is made by a US Based pharmaceutical company and I live in British Columbia, Canada. I am currently taking Sinemet CR and have not heard of a shortage.....nothing mentioned by my neurologist who I saw two days ago.

Hi John, this is Heather Hope your tour was successful! I'm still not taking any L-DOPA, still on the Selegeline. I was asking about the Sinemet CR for the other PWP's who are being given substitutes, we've heard it won't be available for 18 months +-
