Dear Katie;

The hot weather here in Salt Lake City, Utah, bothered me a great deal.

We turned on our two window AC, and kept the curtains closed. That kept it a lot cooler. I drank lots of iced water and tea.

I don't do well in hot weather to begin with. So this has been an extra challenge.

But we get tru it. Do what you can to keep yourself comfortable!!

Hugs and love from Eva

:)

Hot weather affects me. I have a lot less energy. I try to stay indoors with the AC.

It is a common problem with both hate and cold. It is a autonomic nervous system dysfunction, thermal intolerance.

Hi Katiemay. I do not handle hot weather very well. Which underlines the fact that we are ALL DIFFERENT!. So my response to you is yes, I am unable to walk in the heat of the day and I perspire a great deal. My brain does not know when I am hot and when I am cold. If I am sitting working in a room that is gradually getting warmer and warmer, I do not notice it. The same goes for a room getting progressively colder, I am not aware of it.

When I do my fast walking I perspire a lot, which means that my automatic systems are working fine, but they don;t work when I am sitting working in a changing environment.

I don't sleep well at the best of times, and when my body gets so hot that I wake up in a bath of perspiration, I find it very difficult to get back to sleep again. I am not aware when I am getting cold, while I am asleep, and it does not wake me up, so I have to be careful that I don;t catch cold. It is very difficult to manage this situation. I have to cover myself with the least amount, that will see me through the night without either getting too hot or too cold.

John

Heat used to drain my husband's energy. On very hot days we had to make frequent rest stops and make sure he drank extra water to remain hydrated.

Definitely. My tremors were greatly affected by hot weather. The hotter the weather the more I shook.
