I have been diagnosed with PSP anyone else on here got it. If so is there any medication or any thing else which will help my symptoms

HELLO I HAVE PSP AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE FOR US I DO TAKE MODAPAR FIR PAIN AND STIFFNESS IN MY HECK AND AMANTADINE WHICH HAS HELPED WITH MY WALKING BUT I AM ALSO TOLD THAT IT WILL NOT LAST

My husband has your symptoms as his main problem. The Parkinson's meds help with his moderate tremors, but nothing seems to help with the speech, writing, and falling. He is in an electric wheelchair, and feels frustrated and helpless. The problem with the wheelchair is that when the botox wears off, his eyes close involuntarily, and are difficult to open. Makes for some interesting crashes, both in our home, and out and about. Our neuro seems to think he has Parkinson's and PSP conmorbitant. His laundry list of symptoms, and lack of other symptoms seems to confirm that. He also has mild dementia...he was a brilliant man, but now has difficulty thinking through things, and often has poor judgement in safety issues. Do you have sleep problems? Hubby is basically "afraid to fall asleep"...he wants our kids to give him grandkids, and is afraid of not waking up. There's also no comfortable way to sleep. We ordered a zero gravity lift chair in hopes that it will give him enough comfort to lure him in for a good nights sleep. (We all know how much worse symptoms are without sleep!)
