Yes,

The report is on one patient who had celiac disease. Celiac symptoms are often similar to Parkinsons symptoms but I cannot access the full report to see what the researchers write.

The report is called:

Dramatic improvement of parkinsonian symptoms after gluten-free diet introduction in a patient with silent celiac disease.

I had problems with meds absorbing so the generics would not work then the A1 list quit working so I went Gluten free it was a wonderful eye opener, Now I do not have Celiac disease but the gluten free helped my digestive track and most of all my meds work, It did help some of the parkinson also . It just help wonderfully in the beginning then the PD kicks in full force elsewhere. I recommend any Parkie to try this if any is relieved for a while it is worth it plus you learn to read labels, the worst for me was wheat flour. That sent my system into a spin every time. Be careful this diet can be binding so do not get a back up of junk in your trunk! Drink lots of water! Good Luck

I went gluten free and my PD GOT WAY WORSE! vERY CONSTIPATING. Low FODMAPS however eased IBS-C exacerbated by PD . To the point I was pain free for months. I get visceral off when my meds wear off. I do believe more research should be done on PD and the colon.

Need to read "Grain Brain" by Dr. David Perlmutter, a highly respected newrologist. It talks about gluten / celiac......very enlighteniing! I've been at least 95% gluten free for several years now but that was after 18 long years of sickness caused by gluten. At that time the docs were not very aware of the issue. I believe that greatly contributed to my developing PD.

Parkinson, Alzeimher,, brain cancer etc, etc, simply is a partial or total loss of our brain electric activity(neurones), be it memory, evaluation, reading, solving problems, sense activity, creativity, imagination and lots of its composite functionality. What have we all being doing in the last 10 years or so in the whole world, -------any guess------ Parroting or repeating, the ultimate cause of all these brain activity disease or deficit ,indulging our brain to develop a sudden completely abnormal pattern of our brain life style, making partial or total loss of its electric activity to give our doctors headache ,what is it, how it came or how to solve It.I had a Mobility deficit in 2012, epilepsy and partial memory loss in 2013 and in 2014 am 94 percent of my full brain power>Of course I had a good Brain diet assisted with good protein needed by the body and the brain and the rest was a matter of Time>You all can do it, You should have faith and for those who might have any deficiency due to age , medication or vitamins and proteins add- on will be of a great help
