re: constipation question
How many of the people that have severe constipation take Azilect?
It is so important to keep things moving. What seems to work is a glycerine suppository once a week. The next is high fibre like bran buds for breakie and then stool softener or mild laxative either every day or every second day.
Forgive me if I'm repeating myself. I've found 133 mg of magnesium, 4 times per day to be very helpful. I take Azilect and Amantadine. My wife has MS and also uses magnesium. You can take more or less, depending on your individual need. There are no cramps and, because it's a vasodilator, it prevents headaches. We've tried many forms of magnesium and find Magnesium (Oxide & Amino Chelate) to be most effective. It's available from Miller Pharmacal in Illinois.
Miralax daily works. Its a must! Husband Skips a day or two and plugged up again! Such an easy fix, most problems are not. He just mixes a capful in applejuice first thing in the morning!!! DO IT!!! I have tonremind him.
