any ideas to help ease dribbling and mucas extra saliva prob caused from non pd meds.

Are you sure that it is not the PD itself? it is certainly a symptom. Botox injections may help.

Hi macelott. The only thing I know is to develop the habit of consciously swallowing the salive as often as necessary. It sounds too simple, but it is better than taking meds to dry up the flow. The problem is caused because the habit of regularly swallowing excess saliva is controlled by the subconscious brain and that does not work properly anymore. It's tough but what can you do?

John, Chewing gum helps to promote spontaneous swallowing of the excess saliva. It may be frowned upon in social situations, but it beats the alternative.

Thanks ronn. I had not thought of that. I agree, it is unsightly but what the hell! If it works, do it!
