Remember two things: (1) it's a process and (2) be patient. Don't allow yourself to get too high or low and Stay Positive. Some things may be way better; some things may seem to be worse. It takes time but you will have a successful result that will likely make you feel that you made the right decision.

Congrats to a successful operation. Accept this cure even if it only lasts a month. Whether it is GOD'S gift to YOU or YOUR mind giving YOU this relief be grateful for this gift. I have not had DBS surgery yet.

What you are experiencing is called the "halo" effect of the operation. It lasted about a moth for me. DBS is the best thing I've ever done. Good luck.

Once you have the Impulse Generator inserted in your chest, the electricity voltage will be regulated and need to be tweaked, it took me almost 6 months to get my strength back. I exercised daily and did physical therapy. Post DBS follow up and activity are very important.

Good luck!!
