I'm usually awake most of the night, not going to sleep till 5-7AM. When I get up, it is my worst time of day. Unfortunately my best time seems to be arounf midnight. Of course this is when most of my family and friends are sleeping.

My PD nurse once told me that one of the hardest things for a PWP to do is to get up. I now believe her!

I'm tired most of the time. I try to nap in the afternoon. Late afternoon and evenings are the worst..

Mornings are the worst for me too. I don't have any problem sleeping, but I do go to bed late. When I wake up it's difficult to get moving. You just got to get up and start moving and believe the day will get better. Blessings.

It is hard to get up for me also. If I am up and sit very long, it is hard to get going again and I become very tired. You just have get moving and hope that it will be a good day.

My worst time of the day is early. I don't take my meds (Stalevo and Azilect) until 7 a.m. and am a holy flying witch until after about one hour after those meds are down. The last Stalevo of the day is taken at 3 in the afternoon, so it is a long time between the last pills of the day and the first in the morning. I do take Xanax at bedtime for help sleeping 1 mg. No, my wife Jenny is NOT a "holy flying witch" first thing. It does take an hour or so for that first dose to take effect and she does have difficulty waking after a night with difficult dreams. She handles the unexpected changes day to day and I am VERY proud of her!
