I am afraid you have to , however if you have travel insurance with your bank account then you are coverd anyway, i tried to get insuranve a few weeks ago as i as going on holiday and the cost was very expensive then my wife the lovely Laraine told me i was cobverd via our Bnck , so have a look at what type of bank account you have

yes, because it is illegal not o declare a "material fact", and PD, as a pre-existing condition which affects all aspects of your physical ability and mobility., is a material fact.

Imagine if your ferryboat sank. all able bodied people get off alive. you or me, with PD cannot get off, and we drown. then your next of kin try to claim. if you had declared the PD, special arrangements could have been made before you sail. the difference between injury and death, in cash terms, is massive, but you would get nothing, because we did not tell the whole truth. Not even the bits we could have got regardless such as compensation for personal effects. \it is considered internationaly to be fraud

Having been in Life insurance industry for 30 years in USA, PD needs to be disclosed! With life insurance, most companies include PD as part of health questions. If not disclosed and death occurs in first 2 years the claim is denied regardless of cause of death. Companies can also rescind policy if company investigates failure to disclose PD or any other health question. Please disclose! I have seen life policies issued in early years with PD.

My brother in law suffers with parkinsonn's and you do have to tell them to cover if anything happens, otherwise you will need thousands of pounds if anything should occur

We have never had trouble getting travel insurance with Parkinson's. The depression, now that was an interesting problem and cut down the range of companies who would insure us. Still managed it though. Don't be tempted to miss anything off.

Yes, you must do - although for this year's holiday in Spain the insurance company said no exclusion for Parkinson's which surprised me
