Has anyone with RA had adjustments with a chiropractor? I'm considering going to see one , hopefully to alleviate all of this stiffness in my shoulders, neck , and back . I appreciate anyone's opinion, thank you 😊

Are you seeing a rheumatologist? I would definitely ask your rheumatologist first. It depends on how much damage you have or don't have to your joints. Chiropractic work can often be very jarring and could do damage if your joints etc. week I would definitely ask your rheumatologist first. It sure can't hurt anything. I've found massage therapy works best for me.

Yes a chiropractor will work wonders.... I go for adjustments on my ankles mainly and can't tell u the difference it makes. Also other parts as well but it feels great but remember it's only a short fix. Good luck. Make sure it's a good chiropractor !!!!

I have gone for 2 1/2 years and it helped me. It all started when I hurt my shoulder while sledding...now my new RA Dr says never go again! I guess he didn't know although I had told him.

I am told not to go to a chiropractic Dr but that messages were the way to go and may help the most, I tried it and it did make a big difference although I did not keep up with it. I do need to go back and stick with it.

Sorry you continue to experience stiffness. I will let others remark about chiropractors. I am not a fan.

Yes, I recently went to the chiropractor for adjustments. I was having bad sciatic nerve pain in my SI joint, into my buttocks & down my leg. The SI joint was pinched & inflamed. My chiropractor used the clicker to gently move that joint & release the pressure. It took several appointments before it finally helped. I also have a fused low back, so I'm a difficult patient to work on, plus I usually avoid chiropractors because of that. But I'm glad I had him work on me.

Try it, but tell them to be very gentle on you. Good luck.
