Hi

Hope all is well.

I Have a small question and just wanted to know if anyone else has had anything like this before.

About 5 months ago I had a Ct scan with a IVE of contrast dye which leaked and caused my arm to swell up and was really painfull. This all returned to normal after about a week but I was left with slight weakness to the arm and noticed when I picked things slightly too heavy up it would ache slightly.

Well the other day over the weekend I was moving some heavy items about and woke up this morning with my arm feeling extreemly bruised and achy simular to how it felt back when it first began but without any swelling though, It is located to the exact same area where it was too and I was wondering if the IVE leaking has caused any long lasting issues ? Has anyone had this before ? And does it take months to fully heal ? Unsure if I should see a GP about it all.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I can’t answer you question but think you should check with your doctor to put your mind at ease. Hopefully someone here will have had a similar thing and know the answer but don’t think it is a common thing either.
