I was given a supply of steroids in case my Lymphatic Colitis flares up. Touch wood haven’t had to use them yet.

Hello I have Crohn's and colitis and when I have a flare up I use medicinal cannabis. Something with a high THC for pain. If it's a really bad flare up, I go to the hospital and get morphine or hydromorphone. I also get prescribed demerol to take at home after I'm discharged from the hospital.

Wow do you get lots of flare ups.

I’ve only recently been suffering since Christmas it’s horrible but only just experiencing pain and feeling bloated.

Yes I suffered severe pain from the time I was 15 until I had a bowel resection surgery at the age of 28. I also had a few minor surgeries when I was 20, 21 and 22 for fistulas and accesses. I've been relatively ok since my bowel resection surgery and it's been 12 yrs since I had it. I've had a few flare ups but didn't go to the hospital when may be I should have.
