It depends, if it's a bad cold you might find yourself feeling tired afterwards (speaking from personal experience having just taken a week out and finding my first run today extra tiring). No harm in repeating one run of week 4 and if you feel okay then go onto week 5, if not then some more Week 4. Hope you feel better and are up and at 'em again soon. :-)

I agree - see how you feel. It depends too a little how you found W4. For me, W5R1 was a whole lot easier than the W4 runs. You could always do a week 4 run to start off with, and then repeat W5R1, which you normally only do once, a couple of times. Just do what feels best.

Get well soon! :-)

Thank you for your answers to my question, I just couldn't run today, not feeling well at all and was so disappointed as I had come this far in just 4 weeks. Will see how I go and perhaps repeat one week four session before moving onto week 5 the next time I run.

Dont worry the important thing is getting better. I pulled my thigh muscle at a similar stage and took a week off. I got back into where i was previously with no problems at all. I'm feeling a bit crook myself at the moment and doubt I'll be doing my usual Tuesday run.

See how you feel when you are better. Maybe repeat week 4?

For one reason or another, for me week 5 was one that I stayed on for a couple of weeks.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the comments, I felt much better today and started running again and it was fine, coped with week 5, run 1 OK and think it was a good idea to have a week off and recover rather than push myself when I was feeling unwell.
