Week 6, Run 1. That was hard!

Week 6, Run 1.

5 minutes run

3 minutes walk

8 minutes run

3 minutes walk

5 minutes run

I just ran for a full 20 minutes 2 days ago, this should be easy right? My legs beg to differ! Halfway through I was starting to tighten and cramp up a bit, and by the end it was very achey indeed.

I don't think it helped that I did the first 5 minutes at 10.5km/h speed, rather than my usual 8.5 km/h speed, but hey you live and learn. A bit of overconfidence from the last run I think :)

  • Somehow it's a killer, don't know why after the 20 minute run to finish W5. But you did it, so well done. Sounds like you were going at an imreassive speed, too!

  • It's a funny old one, that one, surprises so many of us after the twenty minutes. it gets better again, honest:-)
