Whoops...

Well I've been gone for about the past 5 days as I went back home for the weekend where I had no running shoes or clothes and thought it wouldn't be such a bad idea to take a little break between weeks 5 and 6.

W5R3 went well - I did the whole 20 minutes and actually got quite into it! It was pretty warm and sunny again which never helps but I was so proud of myself for finishing it. I didn't quite complete the 2miles I had hoped to, but I was more focusing on just running continuously for 20 minutes than trying to up my pace in order to cover a certain distance - I can work on that later.

Anyway having had a very successful week, I managed to go quite off the rails this weekend with an excessive amount of smoking and going out and very little in the way of sleep or exercising....but this is a lifestyle I guess I'm going to have to fit running around which I realise is a little unorthodox. Anyway the damage of my weekend on my fitness will show itself tomorrow I'm sure when I attempt W6R1, which luck would have it sounds like one of the hardest runs of the programme. Fingers crossed I'll make it!
