Well done, you sound much more prepared than I was - I did my first week of runs in jeans as I didn't feel confident I'd stick with it, it's definitely a good investment & incentive to buy the kit.
I only bought the bra, wasn't tempted by the shoes as the very knowledgeable and helpful assistant thought my trainers would do fine for a while. Am hoping very much that I manage to stick with it ... all knew to me!! You sound as though you've been running for a while now?
I'm on Week 6 with Run 3 to do tomorrow, so no I haven't really been running that long but I've definitely resolved to stick with it now, I've made loads of progress which I don't want to lose the benefit of & despite the odd tough run I'm enjoying it.
