Woke up at 4.30 this morning and knew I wouldn't get back to sleep. Lay there worrying about work and trying to decide whether to get up and read or go and have a bath. But the thought kept nagging me: "Go and get week 2 started..."
So I scrabbled about on the floor for my running clothes and went downstairs to fire up the laptop & download the podcast. By 5.45 I was out of the door. After weeks of rain, the sun is finally out and there isn't a cloud in the sky, so whenever I got tired I concentrated on all that blue...
Now I'm back, all hot and sweaty, and I've still got time to go and read my book in the bath!

I had a nice run today too, perfect weather. That's the perfect attitude. It's only half an hour out of our day, but it makes the other 23.5 hours so much more enjoyable (including baths with books!)
Well done Lucy. Sounds like a great start to your day. I did my second run of week 2 today at about 7am. It really was a beautiful morning, wasn't it? Blue sky, sunshine but cool enough for a pleasant run. I must remember to look up at all that blue next time I feel tired - wish I had done so today.
