My job at the moment? Making killer playlists...

So I'm not employed at the moment, which means I can devote myself entirely to pursuits like compiling playlists of running songs for the day in the future when I have to bid Laura and the podcast tracks behind.

Using jog.fm, I made a half hour mix (with warm-up and warm-down to Queen!!!) with all the songs at roughly the same tempo. This speed equates to the quite slow pace I'm currently going, but with a couple of faster tracks about 1/3 and 2/3 of the way in to test my limits.

So here goes - my list!

A Kind of Magic - Queen (warm-up)

We Are Young - Fun.

Single Ladies - Beyonce

White Nights - Oh Land

Moment 4 Life - Nicki Minaj

Pumped Up Kicks - Foster the People

Lovely Allen - Holy F**k

She Said - Plan B

Want U Back - Cher Lloyd

Someone to Love - Queen (warm-down)

I'm sort of ridiculously pleased with it and it gives me something to look forward to when I graduate!

I've started compiling a playlist when I hear an 'appropriate' song on the radio. I've only got about four tracks so far, but hopefully I'll have a full list by the time I wave Laura a fond farewell.

My first playlist was only about 40 minutes long then I did a second one which is 1hr 30mins long and I put it on shuffle that way I'm not listening to the same songs every time. Enjoy, there's nothing quite like your own music to jog too.

I agree, making playlists and then listening to them is a very pleasing job!
