My legs felt heavy to start with but felt I jogged a little bit better than before. Pace increased slightly and finished off with a long walk in the forest. Looking forward to Monday for wk3 run. 😁

It's much easier to start slow and get into a rhythm. Once you start running the longer distances it often happens that you'll just naturally pick up speed without much extra effort. For now it sounds like you've got exactly the right idea.

Terrific effort. It's tough getting through those first few minutes of a run, sometimes. You'll find that you'll improve just through the consistency of three runs/week and rest days in between.
