W8 R2 Eventually Complete ๐Ÿ™‚

After completing W8 R1 over two weeks ago I injured my back (non running related) which meant I was barely walking never mind running. I tried to repeat W8 R1 last Friday but only managed 22 mins due to bad left hip pain, which I have never had before. I'm assuming it is due to the break from running or possibly my posture during my injury ๐Ÿค”

Just ran W8 R2 and managed it, although I struggled towards the end.

Only four runs to go. Fingers crossed for no more injuries ๐Ÿคž xx

Nice to see you here with us again. Back pain is horrible... I had time out because of one, a few weeks back. x

Maybe some very gentle exercise for the lower back and hips too will help the recovery as you are clearly moving . There are loads of ideas on the strength and flex forum. Here are some I wrote yonks ago... but there are more to choose from!

Yoga with Adriene has a great short workout which I used to ease my back pain too.

So, well done you... take it very gently as you move on :)

Thank you for ypur reply. ๐Ÿ™‚I will definitely have a look at the exercises you've recommended and give them a go.

I'm so close to the end now and feel amazed I am managing 28 mins but running is something I want to continue to do long term so any help to minimise pain and injury is welcome ๐Ÿ™‚ xx
