Restarting week 2

Haven't updated for a few days, had done 2/3 runs for week 2 last week but had really bad DOMs in my quads from the gym so took a week of recovery to avoid injury, will be back at it again restarting week 2 tomorrow morning :)

Do make sure that you are putting in some rest day exercise to keep those muscles, injury free...

DOMS are such a pain-literally! I’ve always found unless they’re really severe, a walk or swim helps drive them away. There’s an interesting article here which describes that as “active recovery”.

You can repeat week 2 if you want, but after only not running for a week, you could carry on with week 3. It’s totally up to you though! Good luck with the next run.
