I had no idea whether my muscles had recovered enough and would let me run today and was prepared to end up with a very short outing, but things went well. I started gingerly to see how I felt and the treacherously icey pavements probably helped me to keep a slow pace. Running next to the road I really didn’t want to face-plant! Added an extra layer and though it was 0 degrees, I didn’t feel cold.
It was so nice to get past the first 10 mins and start to enjoy running again. Buttock muscles still need some tlc, and I may need to take some extra recovery time, but I feel like I’m getting back in the groove again.

That sounds like a great run there, well done! I’m redoing C25K as well though only on week 3 at the moment, I can’t wait for week 5. You’re right, it’s definitely slippery outside today!
