Hi all. I have just done day1 and wondered if there's anyone who would like to go 'running' with me over the next few weeks. I am in no way a runner having cycling hamstrings so it won't be at all tough .just need some company
Thanks
Jon

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
You may have cycling fitness but that does not prepare your body for the impact of running, which is the cause of most new runner's issues. Take it nice and easy and do take those rest days.
In my opinion you are better off doing C25k on your own at your pace, with nobody to let you down or have to fit around, and just the 120,000+ members of this forum as your running buddies.
Check out leisure centres or running clubs or Run Together runtogether.co.uk/group-run... if you decide you do still want company.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
