I have got into a routine of getting my running stuff ready the night before , so there is no faffing around in the morning and no excuses that I cannot run because I cannot find something. I have also adapted my kit to the heat and my problem that I get really hot quickly even in the cold. I use one of those metal headbands that drags my hair off my face, a real help. I have also found a very light weight top that that helps soak up the sweat and is not heavy. I am always hydrated now. Will work up to shorts but not brave enough to be seen in public in those things yet!
I set off early again this morning and managed to do W5R2 pretty well. The first 8 minute run was a breeze ( at a very gentle pace) and I wanted to continue running but I know that in the long run it would have been counter productive . Glad I did not continue running as run 2 was harder but thanks to another runner on here, helping this technophobe (me) I had my music playing and zoned out and finished the run.

My nice new light tops are from Decathlon , far better than any others I have.... And a have a lot as I do long distance walking. I think my running tights are from the same store.
