After having a sore shin (most likely a shin splint), I haven’t ran since Wednesday, tonight I plan to start again where I was (WK7 R3). I’ve been doing gentle stretches and some hooping in the days in between and the shin feels good, slight bruising but not hurting when I walk on it etc. Am I good just to get straight back on it?
Had 4 rest days am I good to go straight back ... - Couch to 5K

Picking up from where you left off should not be a problem after just 4 days .You won't loose any significant fitness within the first 2 weeks

Just take it really gently, go as slow as you like and stop if it starts to hurt again,
When you next go on a run, think about how your foot is landing on the ground..

Yeah I have been, I actually wonder if I’m been thinking too much about it especially on just little bumps (for example the route I do goes over a couple of small bridges/dykes), as I think I focus on my impact too much rather then staying in stride. Ran tonight and felt a lot better thou still twinged a bit. Made sure I thoroughly stretched before and after thou which I think helped!
