So proud of myself

Am so pleased with myself this morning - aside from getting out at 5.45am to do my run as I'm working extra hours today, I also successfully completed week 4 run 1. I had stayed stuck on week 3 for about 3 weeks due to 2 reasons. Firstly my lovely charges at work had passed on a nasty little virus which knocked me for six and secondly and this is a big one - CONFIDENCE! I truly felt I wouldn't be able to do it. I feel so bouncy at the moment - lets see what I'm like at 6pm when i finish work 😂. Have a good Wednesday people.

Thank you. All my runs have been first thing in the morning- including sundays. You are right I do seem to have loads more energy on those days. Todays was super early as needed to be in work at 8am whereas I'm normally off. Such a good start to the day. X

Thank you so much. I only missed one session through being poorly but the ones after were so hard hence staying on week 3 for so long. Just bit the bullet this morning and decided to go for it. Was so nice being out so early - peaceful. X

Yep definitely bite the bullet when you can, especially on the less motivated days. I can be a terrible procrastinator at times but I think the couch to 5k has played a part in training myself to 'just do it', whatever the circumstances and not just in running but little annoying jobs, I'm just doing them now. Could be a coincidence but maybe not 🤷‍♀️ You're great to get out for our run first thing in the morning. Enjoy your rest day😁

You CAN do it ! It’s mostly mind over matter that gets you through but the achievement at the end of the programme will have you brimming with confidence!
