Hard run this morning, I think it might have something to do with having done a Hiit, weights and circuits session last night - won't make that mistake again! The park was very muddy and to add insult to injury, the app didn't record that I finished the run! So I might just do it again on Monday, can't bear to see a gap in the progress.
I've decided to rename my challenge to: Couch to 2 miles, as so far that is all I've been able to run! Well actually possibly a tiny bit more but I think 5k is a long way off. But I'm happy with that. I'm 61 at the end of the month, never run before although we go cycling (on a tandem with my husband) and I do a fair bit of other exercise mostly cardio and body toning. So I'll join the slow running brigade and just enjoy the scenery - it certainly was a beautiful morning.
