Well when I started it didn't feel that cold even though I was well covered. I started to run trying not to run too fast in the early stages and after 10 to 15 minutes I was in the stride with steady breathing (I did run a bit on some grass for cushioning, it is a whole different experience due to the uneven surface compared to concrete). I picked up the pace in the last 1km and ran 5.19k in a little over 36 minutes.
I felt pleased with myself as this was a steady run, I think I will keep up the practice like this and see how I can improve. My last run of 2020 will be on New Years Eve.
